About
Our Verbal & Non-Verbal Communication program teaches girls the essential skills needed to communicate effectively with others. In this session, girls will explore both the spoken (verbal) and unspoken (non-verbal) elements of communication, learning how these two aspects work together to express thoughts, feelings, and ideas. The program covers verbal communication, including speaking clearly, choosing the right words for different situations, and how to structure sentences to make an impact. Girls will also focus on tone, volume, and pitch, understanding how they influence the message being conveyed. In addition, non-verbal communication plays a vital role in how we express ourselves. Girls will learn the importance of body language—such as posture, gestures, and facial expressions—in enhancing or altering the meaning of their words. Active listening skills will also be covered, teaching girls how to pay attention, interpret non-verbal cues, and respond thoughtfully to others. Through interactive exercises, role-playing, and group discussions, girls will practice using both verbal and non-verbal communication in various scenarios, from casual conversations to more formal settings. By the end of the program, girls will have the confidence and skills to express themselves clearly and understand others better, making them more effective communicators in both personal and professional situations.
